J.A. Kozak is a religious studies scholar and classical philologist. His research focuses on Old Norse religion and the theory of myth. He translated Hervarar saga from Old Norse and several other texts from Old Norse and Latin. In 2018 – 2020 he was a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Bergen researching body symbolism in myth. Now he is a Senior Lecturer at Charles Univesity in Prague.
