Translator by day, scholar by night (and vice versa), Bremont has completed her PhD in English Medieval Studies on Tolkien and the Celtic Heritage in 2009 in Sorbonne Université, Paris. Ever since, she has taken part in events on both sides of the Channel, with the Seminars of the Tolkien Society and the IMC in England, and conferences and conventions in France. Back in 2016, she also had the opportunity to translate Tom Shippey’s Tolkien, Author of the Century into French.
