Claudio A. Testi is Co-Founder and Secretary of the Istituto Filosofico di Studi Tomistici in Modena, Italy, where he teaches logic and cosmology. His publications range from exegetical studies of Aquinas’s metaphysics to essays in formal logic, epistemology, and ethics. For the last decade and a half, his research has focused on the life and works of J.R.R. Tolkien, two recent fruits of which, in English translation, are Pagan Saints in Middle-earth (2017) and the co-edited volume Tolkien and the Classics (2019), both published by Walking Tree Publishers.
