Mattie E. Gustafson is a retired public librarian and an avid reader and studier of J.R.R. Tolkien. She has Masters degrees in library science (University of Rhode Island) and theology (Boston University School of Theology). She is a long-time member of the Mythopoeic Society and serves on that society’s Awards Committee for Inklings Scholarship. She is also very active in Signum University’s Mythgard Institute and has participated in many online workshops and seminars.
