Meghann Cassidy


Cassidy is Assistant Professor of English at the École Polytechnique, where she teaches a wide range of courses in philosophy, literature and creative writing. Her research has focused primarily on historiography, political theory and contemporary uses of Ancient philosophy in the corpora of Michel Foucault and Hannah Arendt. Though continental philosophy continues to be a primary area of study, other research areas include fantastical storytelling and myth- making, as well as contemporary African philosophy and the literature and philosophy of the African and Black diaspora.
