Westvik is a researcher, writer, and performer with a background in international relations and war studies. They fiercely believe in the power of the humanities to effect cross-cutting change in the non-proliferation and peacebuilding policy arenas. They work their interest in international politics and conflict into their creative and non-fiction writing. Their fiction has been published in several amateur zines, and they’re currently working on their first novel. They also produce research in the field of Tolkien studies focused on political science readings and queer reception. They enjoy writing commentary on books and films in their spare time, and also occasionally create digital art. Originally from Singapore, They are now based in Europe.
