Erick Carvalho de Mello graduated in History from Universidade Federal Fluminense. He completed his studies in sociology with a Masters and a Ph.D. in Cultural Memory at the Universidade Federal do Estado Rio de Janeiro (Unirio). He has researched Celtic societies, identity, art, history and cultural memory. Currently, he is head of “The Toca” Smial in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
